OpenPrinting User Forums

Here you can discuss questions and problems related to printing with Linux, Unix, Mac OS X, and other Posix-style operating systems. No developer discussion is done here, developers are invited to use the OpenPrinting mailing lists.

To be able to post you do not need to register, but if you want to have all postings shown with your name, want to be able to edit them, and also want to post without all the time needing to enter your name and an anti-spam code, you have to register.

To register, you have to create an account for the Linux Foundation web site which serves for the use of all non-anonymous web services provided by the Linux Foundation (currently Wiki and the forums). If you have already set up an account for the Wiki earlier, you can immediately use the same user name and password for the forums.

Important: If you were subscribed to one or more of the former "printing-user-..." mailing lists, use the same e-mail address for your new account here, then we can assign your former list postings to you and so you will be able to edit them, as soon as they will get imported into the forums.

Do not change your password or e-mail address in the Control Center of the forums. Do these changes here. All forum-specific changes are done in the Control Center.

Please read also the FAQ.
